Erin Bassett: Raw And Fearsome at Mint Gallery

Raw and Fearsome implies big, loud, deadly, uncooked, rough and powerful. Fear is an essential part of the equation, but the mask is a ceremony of willingness, A physical Incantation that allows us to become our fear and let it pass through us but allows for the violence of a knowledge larger than ourselves.

Erin Bassett was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1983. Several thousand beers, cigarettes, and cups of coffee later, she joined the Plastic Aztecs in 2009. Togther they founded SuperFuturism, a movement dedicated to living in the present through the mind of the super future. Erin hopes to develop super-time consciousness powers and to proliferate the de-conception of time through exercises in simultaneous time-thought perspectives.
