Andrew Willingham, a young composer and graduate student at Georgia Tech, will be performing contemporary compositions featuring the flute, the computer, an amplifier, and speakers. Currently on view: Re-Purposed: The Use of Everyday Materials in Contemporary Art, featuring artists Sara Cole, Will Corr, Clayton Santiago and Sherry Williams.

Artist Prema Murthy gives an informal talk on her solo exhibition Breaking the Grid at 1pm. Through video, installation and works on paper, Murthy creates deconstructed grids as a myriad of metaphors that a line may evoke – boundaries mapped, landscapes measured, in both geo-political and psychic terms.

ABOUT THE WESTSIDE ART WALK
The Westside Art Walk is a presentation of the Westside Arts District and occurs on the third Saturday of every month from 11am to 5pm, unless otherwise noted. This art-centric event is intended to encourage public interaction and education of visual art in the emerging art district in Atlanta’s Westside neighborhood.
