Solomon Projects presents Introversion, a lightbox installation by Rachel Speed, a Northern Irish student from the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Atlanta campus. The exhibition is Rachel’s MFA Photography Thesis.
The show features a series of ten lightboxes in the main gallery and a pair of large scale images on translucent film installed in the gallery’s front window virtually transforming the space into a lightbox. Introversion highlights the artist’s interest in depicting the inner world through imagery, a place that we all inhabit, yet is difficult to describe through words.
Through March 12.
