Walk & Talk for The The Way Things Work to discuss the fascinating works in this exhibition with curator Didi Dunphy and assistant curator Megan Kluttz.
The Way Things Work is a colorful and spectacular exhibit featuring large-scale installation, indoor and outdoor sculpture, drawings, videos and sound art. Our 39th exhibit, it showcases the creations of 11 national and international artists who respond to systems, utilizing a wide range of contemporary art-making methodologies in order to investigate an equally wide range of subject matter.
Yet whether they explore entomology or lottery ticket predictions, Morse code or Macbeth, building construction or table tennis, architecture or the (dis)logic of democracy, they all share a common approach to generating meaning that is deeply rooted in the history of contemporary art.
Through May 29.
