Atlanta Contemporary Art Center’s Winter exhibitions “Day Job: Georgia” and “100,000 Cubicle Hours” include 19 local artists whose various modes of employment have a clear link to the art that they produce. They address ways in which jobs can provide materials, skills, time, and satisfaction; or possibly the loss of spirit and self. Plus, we’ll have the Good Food Truck and Dance Truck to kick off the opening night with tasty items and wild movement.
Day Job has been organized by The Drawing Center, NY. The presentation of Day Job: Georgia at ACAC is curated by Nina Katchadourian and Stuart Horodner.
100,000 Cubicle Hours is curated by Beth Malone and Courtney Hammond of Dashboard Co-Op.
