The large scale projections, spanning a total of over 350 feet, will cover the facade of the buildings of the High Museum that surround Sifly Piazza. Three discrete audio options will be streamed to viewers smartphones and web enabled devices. Set in the rural south, The Water and The Blood presents a kaleidoscopic view of five characters’ interwoven stories.
The exhibition is free and open to the public and is presented in conjunction with Culture Shock: Homegrown and concurrently with the exhibitions: Picturing the South, and Revisiting the South: Richard Misrach’s Cancer Alley.
