Atlanta Art Now Information Session at WonderRoot

Cinqué Hicks, Atlanta Art Now‘s Co-Author and Creative Director, will discuss Noplaceness: Art in a Post-Urban Landscape, the Possible Futures, Inc. publication, Wednesday, May 25th at Wonderroot.

In his talk, Hicks will discuss the 2011 volume, which explores work by Atlanta artists dealing with the shifting physical and psychological spaces of the new global era. Hicks will also outline the books future plans, including proposed international collaborations and cross-discipline teaching component.

The Atlanta Art Now Information Session will take place on Wednesday, May 25th at 6PM at Wonderroot located at 982 Memorial Drive, Atlanta, GA 30316. This event is free and open to the public. Discussion to follow.

Noplaceness is written by Atlanta based writers Jerry Cullum, Catherine Fox and Cinqué Hicks and features a foreword by Valerie Cassel Oliver, Senior Curator of the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston.
