Born in France to Algerian parents, Zineb Sedira enlists images and text to explore migration and globalization from various perspectives—personal, political, and historical. Her video-installation “Gardiennes d’images,” 2010, was on view in “The Mediterranean Approach” at the Venice Biennale 2012. Her work will be featured in solo exhibitions in Paris, Amman, Vancouver, and Sunderland, UK, in 2011-2012.
