Art Relish documents and promotes contemporary visual art and artists around Atlanta by providing first-person artist interviews, news, reviews and event coverage along with a comprehensive calendar and gallery directory of Atlanta’s thriving and diverse art scene. Art Relish was launched in September 2007 by Jason Parker and Brett Osborn. Jason has operated the site since 2009.
The videos I’ve created and posted here have been viewed tens of thousands of times in multiple channels. I believe they provide a valuable service in documenting and exposing Atlanta art and artists to a worldwide audience.
Rather than taking a critical perspective, I like to talk with artists and others about why they make the work they do, and what they want the viewer to take away from the experience. This interaction provides a first-person voice for artists to directly engage with the public, and gives the audience some context, something to react to, on viewing or experiencing the work.
Art Relish needs you! Please help support the site and continue improvements to capabilities and coverage. Sponsorship banners of 125 pixels square are available on the right of site pages. A variety of video sponsorship and production services are also available.
