| Description: | Minus: An Exhibition features emerging artists from across the country and from several different minority communities, including Black, Latino, Asian and LGBT. The combination of these communities verges on the majority. Works will be of multiple mediums, including painting, sculpture, video installation, performance and photography, and deal with issues of identity: gender, sexuality, culture and the body. The show will feature works from Deidra Tyree, Marlene Hawthrone Thomas, Yi-Hsin Tzeng, Karen Shacham Through July 11, 2009. |
