It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to produce an interview, but this week I got to visit Jennifer Schwartz at her gallery. We talked about the “Kindred” show, with work by Kisa Kavass and Lori Vrba, selected by Atlanta Celebrates Photography Executive Director Amy Miller during last year’s “Fresh Perspectives,” and also about recent changes at the gallery. “Kindred” is beautiful and meticulously crafted work. New Works photography show at Fulton Cotton Mill

by Gray Chapman This weekend, an urban loft in Cabbagetown’s Fulton Cotton Mill was the backdrop for the New Works photography show, featuring works from twelve photography students at SCAD Atlanta. The show is part of the ongoing Emerging Arts Scene project, which seeks to highlight local emerging artists in series of gallery shows at the Cotton Mill (a.k.a. “the Stacks”).
