The GSU Welch School Gallery of Art and Design presents “SEe,” an exhibition of graduate photography student works from eight southeastern graduate programs: University of Georgia, Georgia State University, SCAD, Eastern Carolina University, Florida State University, University of North Carolina, Louisiana State University, Georgia Southern University

SEe aims to increase communication between our shared communities of like-minded artists and to bring awareness to the importance of a graduate photography program. The works featured represent the talents, innovativeness and skill of a diverse body of students in the Southeast.

Join WonderRoot for 24 hours of art madness.  Beginning Saturday, September 5 through Sunday, September 6 WonderRoot will host a 24-hour lock-in.  Artists and friends are invited to explore the depths of their creativity.  Painters, illustrators, filmmakers, ceramicists, photographers, musicians, writers, and more will come together for a night and day of art makin’. The artwork created will be on display at the WonderRoot Community Arts Center throughout the month of September and will be celebrated at an opening reception on Thursday, September 10. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.  Space is limited. Email art@wonderroot.org to register. Food and drinks provided.  $5.

Join Jack Art Gallery on 09-09-09 for nine nine nine, an evening of big, bright and bold abstract works by Jorge Arcos, Zachary Brown, Benny Cokemen, John Paul, Phillip Hua and Scott Eakin. Show will feature dozens of vibrant, abstract works priced to sell in this economy. Will be a grand evening of wine, art and fun!
