Arts for All Gallery presents a private collection of artwork, titled The Art of Collecting..…A Decade’s Journey, opening January 12 and continuing on view through February 19, 2010. This distinctive exhibit will feature the private collection of Jaehn Clare, who currently serves the organization as Director of Artistic Development. Clare has been a staff member with VSA arts of Georgia for more than nine years, and she has acquired an eclectic selection of artwork, including original one-of-a-kind pieces as well as limited edition prints. Many of the works comprising this exhibit were created by local artists who have worked or exhibited with the organization during its thirty-five year history, and others were acquired during the course of Clare’s thirty year career in the arts.

“I have found that working in this environment provides me with such astounding opportunities to meet artists, to view, enjoy, and ponder a diverse range of creative work … How could I not be a patron myself?”
~ Jaehn Clare, MA

Tari Beroszi’s work, “Seeing Sound”, is an exploration of music and image.  She uses photography as a tool to translate the language of music into abstract images, resulting in a poetic and conceptual representation of a non-visual language.  Her photographs are the abstract equivalents of what she feels and what she sees from within when listening to music.
