MINT presents “ManEaters and LadyKillers”
What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with an art show about love and its complexities. ManEaters and Ladykillers is a celebration of the Romance Comics popularized in the 1950’s and 60’s. The show will explore the delicacies of romantic relationships, the sweet and the sour, via this iconic imagery. Participating artists will pay tribute to this comic genre through a variety of different media and styles.
Artists Include: Marcy Starz, Chris Hamer, Jennifer Young, Doug Wolski, Ben Goldman, Caroline Worth… and more
MINT is a non-profit organization located in Atlanta, Georgia that is dedicated to providing a networking conduit for Georgia’s art communities. Our goal is to facilitate a non-judgmental environment where ideas can be exchanged freely through classes, networking events and exhibitions. MINT believes that fostering the creative impulses of the community will provide an outlet for imagination and cooperation by bringing together both accomplished and novice artists.
