ART PAPERS‘ 12th Annual Art Auction will return to Mason Murer Fine Art on February 4th and 5th, 2011. This annual silent auction features exceptional work by internationally acclaimed and emerging artists alike. ART PAPERS’ largest fundraiser is also the season’s not-to-be-missed art event. Last year’s edition featured some 300 artworks and attracted 2500 arts supporters, budding collectors and aficionados from all over the eastern United States.

Proceeds from the event support ART PAPERS’ programs. ART PAPERS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the examination, development, and definition of art and culture in the world today. Its mission is to provide an independent and accessible forum for the exchange of perspectives on the role of contemporary art as a socially relevant and engaged discourse. Based in Atlanta for 34 years, ART PAPERS’ audience spans over 50 countries.

The 2011 edition of the Art Auction also introduces one prominent change: a sponsorship by locally owned Verus Carbon Neutral, an innovative and eco-conscious company that aids businesses looking to reduce their impact on the environment. Verus Carbon Neutral will measure and offset the carbon footprint of ART PAPERS’ 12th Annual Art Auction.

Collectors’ Preview: Friday, February 4, 7-9 p.m.
Silent Auction and Party: Saturday, February 5, 7-10 p.m.
